Book about beloved Roanoke basketball coach Joe Gaither released
Janay interviewed Joe, his former player Jerman Crump, and the writing team of Barry Brown, Ted Edlich, and Dave Russo at the Eureka Recreation Center in Roanoke. She combined the interview with archival video from Joe’s storied career in youth basketball and then added photographs from The Coach Gaither Story. The result is a powerful testimony to Joe’s life, his coaching career, and his impact on his community.
